In the past few weeks, Disney, CBS, Viacom, Newscorp, TimeWarner, GE owned media sources have reported on how busy hospitals in the New York City area are in handling additional inflow of patients with health complication related to the virus. However, when citizen journalists visit those same hospitals, there are no lines of people, ambulances are parked, its abnormally quiet and very few staff are willing to speak. Yes, these are abnormal times and maybe the patients and clients are hidden from view but the stark contrast between corporate media reporting and citizen journalists such as our guest Jason Goodman warrant further investigation.
