Many researchers into Bigfoot know the habitat of this elusive human like creature extends beyond the Pacific northwest and into any heavily wooded regions with fresh running water, a deer population or access to livestock. The iconic Patterson-Gimlin footage brought the image of this ancient people into the public consciousness in 1967. However, within a few years, films such as The Legend of Boggy Creek soon restored Bigfoot to the pantheon of mythical giants. The media placement continues to this day, from Chewbacca in Star Wars to any unknown monster in the woods.
However, the reality is that descriptions of eyewitness encounters fill hours of interviews and pages of books with intriguing composites of forest giants. One particular encounter in Ontario, Canada documented something beyond the evidence of a bestial scream echoing in the hollows.
