Today we look at the possible futures that lay before humanity as artificial intelligence exponentially develops from present day technology. This contemplation is through the lens of the science fiction short stories written by Judyth Vary Baker in her recent book titled Letters to the Cyborgs: As Humans Become 51% Machine, Or More, Who Will Inherit the Earth? Short stories such as the Perfect Wife is now a probable science fiction future as articles of robot companions make front page news. We’re told the singularity will occur by 2030. Interestingly, that’s the date the United Nations has projected for the completion of the Agenda for the 21st Century. What types of futures are being envisioned for humans and how are we being set up for the transhumanist agenda?

Guest – Judyth Vary Baker is a former cancer researcher with degrees in Anthropology, English and Communications. She describes herself as “a whistle-blower, a futurist, a poet, an artist and a scientist who campaigns for a cure for cancer and, as a witness who personally knew Lee Harvey Oswald, seeks exoneration for Lee and justice for John F. Kennedy. Judyth includes science fiction stories by Lee Harvey Oswald and a list of books Oswald read compiled by the FBI. The subtitles in the book list weren’t complete making the titles appear more subversive. Letters to the Cyborgs is Baker’s third book. It presents an eye-opening vision of what life could be like in a surveillance-driven, high-tech society between AD2050 and 2150, based on today’s inventions and technology. Due to the controversial nature of her books and activities, which expose corruption in the medical field, government and the media, Baker has lived in undisclosed locations in Europe since 2007 for her safety.
